i bought visa card to give to my brother as a bday present. went to activate it online to save him the trouble, but they said i needed to contact netspend.
when i did, they said i didnt enter the information properly online and that i had to submit my ssn information through the mail in order to correct the apparent mistake. very sketchy and total waste of time and money. steer clear of these people. this is way too complicated to deal with.
i am going to try and return card to rite aid and get at least some of my money back.
customer service is also very unhelpful.
