According to the Netspend account page, you should be able to activate your card at netspend.com/account/activate. You will need to provide the following card information: card number; security code.
If you have any issues with the card activation, please contact the Netspend customer care team:

According to Netspend FAQs to check your balance for free, log in to your Online Account Center, where you can see your balance, your deposits and transaction history. You can also check your balance for a $0.50 fee by calling Netspend toll-free number 1-86*-387-7363 or when making the inquiry at a participating ATM located in the U.S.

According to the Schedule of Social Security Benefit Payments 2020 stated at ssa.gov, SSI should be deposited on June 1. If receiving both Social Security and SSI, Social Security is paid on the third of the month.
According to the comments posted at quora.com, it depends on that particular Netspend card's policy. SSI is paid/deposited on the 1st of the month unless the 1st falls on a weekend or federal holiday, in which case it is paid/deposited the business day before.

Unfortunately, Netspend does not provide any information about if it is possible to send money from cash app to Netspend card on the company website. However, according to the 'Supported Cards with Cash App' article posted at cash.app, cash app supports debit and credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. Most government-enabled prepaid cards are also supported, but depositing to these cards does not work.

According to the Netspend help section, you may order a new card
  • by contacting the Netspend customer care team via their toll-free number, 1-86*-387-7363;
  • by logging into your Netspend account. Select 'My Account' - 'My Prepaid Cards'.

It usually takes approximately 7 to 10 business days to receive the Netspend card. When your card arrives, activate it. Follow the printed activation and identity verification steps that are on the materials that arrive with your card.

According to the Netspend faq section, Netspend gives you access to your money as soon as the funds are electronically deposited to your card account. It usually takes about 1 to 3 business days to get the direct deposit.
As stated at quora.com, there are 2 time periods when the deposits come:
  • between noon and 1PM
  • between 4PM and 5PM

How long does a dispute take?

My dispute was reopened on 1/29 and was given update of 2/3 then I was given another update on 2/16 and still have not received my refund. Now they say wait more til 3/16.

What is going on? I need to know if merchant is going to give me refund back or then Im going take them to court.

How long does it take to get my money back. I need it now.

You should have asked for probationary refund in writing with in 10 days I guess and would have been provided with the funds until the outcome

According to the 'Hey, how long does it take to get your return? if I'm getting the card I'm assuming they just mail it you' article posted at ttlc.intuit.com, most refunds are received within 21 days from the time a return has been accepted and a refund option is selected.

According to Netspend FAQs, you should receive your card 7 to 10 business days after you place your order. If you do not receive your card within 10 business days, call Netspend Customer Service at 1-86*-387-7363.

In order to see your transactions, you can install Netspend Online Banking. Via this app you can see recent transactions, set up Direct Deposit, activate Netspend Payback Rewards and more.

According to Netspend customer help, you should be able to access your money immediately after the funds are deposited to your card account. There are some requirements that need to be met, though, so electronic direct deposits are credited successfully to your card account.     • Purchase Transactions - $4,999.99 every 24 hours
    • Over-the-counter Cash Withdrawals - $4,999.99 every 24 hours
    • ATM Cash Withdrawals - $325.00 per withdrawal, $940.00 per day, up to 6 per 24 hours

    As stated on netspend.com, Netspend Prepaid Debit Card can be used to make purchases at stores, over the phone and online.
    However, according to the article on consumer.ftc.gov, there are many NetSpend prepaid debit cardholders who have trouble getting access to the cash they loaded onto the cards. Unfortunately, Netspend does not provide information on how to avoid or fix card denying. Please contact their customer care team for assistance. You may call them by phone at (866) 387-7363 (toll-free number) or send an email at customerservice@netspend.com.

    • pay bills withdraw money from ATM

    All operations are immediate.
