Netspend - Never got to use my gift card money
I received the $25 gift card for my birthday. I was saving it for a special occasion.
Time passed by and I did not activate my card. I realized that the company deducted $11 for being "inactive". While I may understand that part, I was upset when I finally tried to make a $13 purchase and the card did not go through. I called customer service and I learned about all the fees associated with recuperating the funds on the gift card.
Absolutely ridiculous and I will never refer them any business.
Please do not issue prepaid gift cards from this business since they also charge a $5 fee to upload money into the account. Save yourself from this headache.
Reason of review: Problems with payment.
Monetary Loss: $11.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
