So I get my card today and realize that Netspend has put my maiden name on my card, which has been changed for over 2 years. So I kindly call them to notify them of their mistake and to ask them to change it to my married name which is what I personally signed up to the card as.

They said they couldn't without my marriage license or a court order stating the legal name change. I know they pulled my name from my social and my legal name is now my married name through my social, so they already have proof of that. I am very suspiscious of their request now, because why should they need proof of my married and legal name if they already ran my social. I know it's not a mistake on my end, because all my credentials have been reset with my new computer so it only has access to my married name.

This is more than a minor annoyance because now I'm suspicious of their intent. I am going back to Greendot who have always been willing to make those changes without issue.
