Netspend is setup to rip you off if you supposedly make a mistake trying to activate the card.If your home address can't be detected and you're uneligable to use your po box and it's the only address you have and it can't detect both, then that's where they got you.
They lock your online account and say you have to call a representative. You call them and do as they instruct but your account doesn't unlock and doesn't activate your card. As for them, they'll lie to you and try to get off the phone with you as soon as they can. You ask for your money back and say it'll be sent in by check, processed for 10 business days then sent in by mail but doesn't show.
There's no way to get a refund from the store and them, it's fraud and setup to scam you if you make a mistake. There's other ways for them to take your money if do successfully activate your card.
They're even able to deactivate your card and take the money that's on it and say get another card and we'll transfer the funds. If there's a way to sue them, I would do it.
