Lets just say my check is 3 days late. I called this morning and talked to a lady named "Christine" I asked her where my paycheck was because the funds were not in my account....

She said " We are having issues with our system mam and we do not know how long its going to take for you to receive funds".

I sat on this decision for an hour or so before contacting my attorney who is very well known for winning in- embezzlement and fraud cases within big banking.

I was told if my money was not received by the end of today 10/15/2018 5:00 pm we would open a case against Netspend and Meta Bank (two lawsuits) . I cannot trust this company and after reading the comments through out this consumer page I now have over 400 willing victims of net spend and Meta bank proceeding with me with this lawsuit.

Reason of review: Fraud and Embezzlement.

Monetary Loss: $1225.

Preferred solution: I want my direct deposit and to close my account after my money is deposited. I will proceed with lawsuit accordingly to this response. .

Netspend Cons: Poor service, Customer service does not know what they are doing.

Metabank kept my account open after I went through protocols to close it on June 2020. The account was opened by Zippy Tax Service without my knowledge and permission.

In July of 2020 my tax returns were deposited ($1386) Metabank took their share and Zippy Tax Service withdrew the rest. Cherisse Raghoo (347)792-****.

We need to get our company back to the American people and out of the hands of the people that we are at war with the government gives them money to come and start business in our own country but want give it's own people nothing but higher taxes

Someone hacked my account taking 60dallors a month had to find out my self who, where and when that's been two weeks ago NetSpend cancel my card froze my account I can't get my money or transfer my money to another card or account all my bills are due just got adviction notice because rent is due don't even have gas to get to work already miss Friday which made me lose my overtime pay and my holiday pay for this week If I don't show Tuesday I will lose my job so question is how come someone else can take money from my account so easily but yet I can't touch or I have to jump through hoops for nothing been trying for a week with these people and they say nothing they can do that I just have to wait on new card to come in 7 to 10 days any other mail in the USA you can get in 3 days NetSpend has me so pissed and stressed out it's unbelievable customer service sucks nothing but foriners that you can't understand different one every time you call as being an true American how are we allowing foriners to take over everything banks, stores, hotels and just about every other type of business out there what's wrong with us the American people

I also have a major complaint - my account was closed because of mistakes made on THEIR part and I am away from home NOW with NO MONEY and NO WAY TO ACCESS Money to get home (1100 miles away) because instead of giving me the chance to open a new account elsewhere or just get the remaining money out they decided to close without warning and mail me a check in only god knows how long and I only found out cause I tried to use my card and it wouldnโ€™t work so I called - please email frankiterranova@***.com as I WILL BE taking legal action somehow soon

The software company you are referring to is FIS. This is gross negligence on the part of Netspend for continued use of their software knowing that this has been an ongoing problem.

Our employers HAVE indeed sent our money and its stuck with FIS.

Metabank is not receiving the funds, so therefore there is nothing for Netspend to post. I hold Netspend and FIS accountable and my attorneys will be contacted along with the FDIC, BBB and FTC.

Rayunderwood214@***.com Same situation with me they freeze my account as soon as my direct deposit was sent. This is the 2nd time my account has been frozen for no apparent reason.

I will definitely help in anyway I can with law suite I am sick and tired of this netspend bs! Frauds!

Add me to the list my paycheck did not direct deposit last Wednesday they allow three transaction to go through charge me $45 total in overdraft fees can they stop allowing transactions to go through as a result our power was merely turned off I nearly lost my life insurance policy and I may have lost my husband's life insurance policy and my husband has liver disease and it's hard to find life insurance for him my employer sent me a paper check and I attempted to do a mobile upload of the check and it was rejectedthe following excuses not able to read numbers on the bottom of the check I didn't sign the back of the check and I guess then I got an email siding some other reasons so don't might have to go pick up my vehicle at the Collision Center tomorrow and pay a $225 deductible oh but wait there's no money in my bank account and the rental car is due tomorrow am I insurance company won't extend it only by the way I was rear-ended I should be paying that deductible in the first place so bring on that class action suit let's nail him to the wall and using for a dart board

I guess I am not the only one who has been conned by this company. My funds were frozen and my account was closed due to too many unauthorized withdrawals and of course they were not helpful ...

I was told by the representative that my balance will be refunded and mailed out to me ... So I have to wait for who knows when to get my check and until then I have 5.00 in quarters that I will need for gas to get to my job and I wasn't even notified that my account was closed I had to find out after I tried to use my card at Walgreens to buy my heart pills..this whole situation will put me back in the hospital!! I was a customer of theirs for a year , recommended them to go workers and family ... They made a lot of money off of me...

I guess, customer loyalty is not part of their moto.

I will be filing a complaint with the FDIC , BBB and FTC once the gov shutdown has been resolved. They need to be taught a lesson that they can't treat people like this or use their money as hostage.

you say NetSpend used FIS for their direct deposit, I would imagine NetSpend would paying for that service if that bee the case I have to wonder if FIS held back out checks because netspend did not pay their bill
