This service is NOT GOOD AT ALL!!! I'm posting this right after I spoke to a customer service representative who couldn't help but kept saying sorry about inconvenience.

They're holing my funds and not releasing it for a week after I have cancelled a transaction at online store in order to go with a different store due to the backorder.

The online store representative told me that their process took only 24 hours to transfer the money back. But Netspend is holding on to the money for a whole week, before it lets me use it. Very inconvenient and impossible to reach a customer service representative on the phone, unless if you go through a dispute (during certain hours).

I do not recommend using Netspend, go with any other but ACE Cash Express. thx.

Monetary Loss: $180.

I have been a long time user of netspend since my company went paperless. This is it for me. Last paycheck they did not make my paycheck available until after Thanksgiving, yet when they money showed up it showed the 23rd as the dosimeter date.

Now here it is Thursday and again, NO PAYCHECK! It took me almost an hour to get a live person on the phone. They gave me a canned answer that made no sense. I told them I know the deposit tape went out Tuesday. All they have to do is run it and then update my account. If this is anything like thanksgiving, they have already run the tape but are intentionally delaying showing it in my account.

For years they were like clockwork, my account showed my paycheck at 9:30 pm every Wednesday. They are intentionally not updating my account so they can draw additional interest on my paycheck. I am reporting them to the Texas banking regulation.

thus is a cookie cutter response. you guys don't really do what the company claims you don't make direct deposits as soon as they are available you hold themso tor company can make more money.

as far as holding money from a company that had released or returned the find again its so you can make money regardless of the inconvenience.

i suggest people go with the American express prepaid card its much better has the best customer service the only draw back is they won't accept government checks. if you have those kinds of deposits try Chase liquid.

I just got a netspend card last week due to the fact I would be payed a few days earlier. I've used netspend before and had no problems but this time they put a hold on my card all because I added my direct deposit to the card.

It didn't make sense to me. And to unlock the card they asked me 3 questions that didn't pertain to me personally but to my area in which I lived in.

EXAMPLE which streets is closer to the street you live on and 2 out of the 3 streets was around the same distance. DO NOT GET A NETSPEND CARD THEY ARE WORSER THAN BANKS SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE IS ANOTHER WAY OF SAYING KISS OUR ***

I PUT 218.00 IN MY NETSPEND ACC. 2 MONTHS ago to pay for a headboard .

net spend did not pay them at all .now stacks and stacks online company is comeing after me for their payment.
