I had the same thing happen to me. My card was cancelled after I contested a charge for $9.00 I was on my way home from work and need gas when the charge appeared on my phone for a Tidal subscription I already cancelled.

I specially told the rep not to cancel the card because I needed gas and that I would call back later after I took the money off the card and waited on my next paycheck and for a new card. My card was cancelled by the time I reached a gas station and there was no way to reinstate my card.

I was pissed and was out of money for two days until I realized I had a new card already sent to me a week before and had them to activate that card. No I make sure I always have a new card in my posession at all times incase something like that ever happen again.
