To whom it may concern,

Today, I called netSpend to find out whether there was a balance remaining in a card. Unfortunately, I was calling in behalf of my mother since she recently passed away a few weeks ago. We were unaware of this card being active. I understand that you policy requires you to speak to the policy holder. However, I was calling as her daughter to get further information how to terminate the card or where to send the information that my mother is disease. I am unsatisfied by the lack of professionalism delivered by the lady on the phone; she refused to tell me her name on the phone. She gave me her ID# 132****. We needed guidance as to what to do next with momโ€™s debit card. I am deeply disappointed that your representative was not attentive enough to give her condolences. Instead, she was raising her voice and talking over my questions. Every business we had been dealing with, their costumer service representative have guided us and given us their condolences.

As I stated before, I understand you have a policy to speak only to the member. I believe I have a right to ask questions as to what to do to terminate this account since the member is disease and left a executive account holder on her behalf. I also would advice all of your costumer service people to treat each costumer with respect and professionalism. I hope that this doesnโ€™t happen to other costumers.

What kind of "disease" are you talking about? I suspect the word you are searching for is "deceased" which means room temperature.

As for the debit card, just don't use it and do absolutely nothing with it.

They will eventually cancel it out after it is not used for a certain length of time. Make sure you do not pay any bills of your mom as they are not your responsibility.
